PERSONAL PROFILE
I take great pleasure visiting museums, exhibitions and galleries - travelling wherever possible. It wasn't until my teenage years that I became much more dedicated and proactive with developing and pursuing my creating skills.
In 2009 I began piecing together jewellery before going on to organise and run my own craft fairs (Heath Park Craft Fairs) - where I joined with several others to sell my work. I have always had a passion for jewellery, metalwork and an overall appreciation of the making process and in 2012 I took the leap and moved to London to develop my skills as a jeweller.
I studied jewellery design and silversmithing at Kensington and Chelsea College, which I completed with distinction grades, was shortlisted for the V&A Inspired By Awards and was commissioned my 1st Public art piece for Golborne Bridge. After My studies at KCC I returned to Cardiff and graduated with Honours - BA Artist, Designer Maker at Cardiff School of Art and Design.
It was during this degree that I was introduced to more modern methods of design and production such as; Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D printing, CNCing, Lazer Cutting ad well as more traditional crafts such as woodwork, ceramics and textiles.
I am currently residing in Reading at Bishopsland Educational Trust where I continue to develop my body of work combining both traditional and modern techniques.
